Literacy Activities
Literacy activities are learning activities we do every morning. They follow the unit that we are working on at the time.
In our science/math lesson, we used real earthworms. We read many books about worms and then observed the "real" thing. Measuring them proved to be quite difficult, so we measures gummy worms. Yum they sure were good to eat when we were finished "playing".

We had to read, write, cut, and glue for this activity.

We learned to sequence by explaining the process of making a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich and then actually making one. YUM!!
