9/6/06  I SOLD her!!   Hated to do it, but a two seat truck with 2 kids doesn't work out very well.  Hopefully I reaplace her with an extended cab truck to be able to haul a camper.  Trans went out again and the sitting around didn't do the engine any good.

5/8/05  Finally installed junkyard transmission from Southwest Auto Salvage in Lockport Il.  First time I installed it, the gear selector gear retaining nut fell off...after I had it installed and running for a 1/2 an hour!!  Drop the pan tighten the nut and I'm golden!!

1/8/05  Lost transmission.  No third or forth gear!!!!

 4 deg. advance
Victory Track rental day.  40-50 degrees, perfect day. Traction was a little touchy.  Picked up a tenth each run, kept advance timing and getting faster....Until the trans pan gasket blew.  Packed it in for the day.  Probably could have run 15.1 with more timing and fuel pressure.   Need to get correct resistor values for the "knock knocker", would allow more advance.  Upping shift rpm may also help.

10/12/04   Add "knock knocker" circuit to knock sensor lead.  Drastically cut false knocks.  Didn't have exact recommended resistor values.

10/4/04  Started body work.  Removed body cladding and started fixing rust above RR wheel.

7/04/04  Washer Mod.  Added a washer to the TBI pressure regulator to help get some more pressure out of the system.  The Turbo City fuel pressure regulator was screwed all the way in and I could only get 12.5 psi out of it.  I can get over 13 psi after adding the washer, the spring was be weak.

85 and humid....truck ran decent considering the heat.  1/8 mile was about the same as cooler weather on 5/7/04 but HP is down more
and even worse than last year.  Some knocking and MSD adjustable timing was varying each time timing was adjusted.

6/27/04  Installed F-Body electric fan.

6/22/04  Installed MSD Adjustable Timing Control

Vey cold night, 50's with a STRONG headwind blowing straight down the track!
With chip #1 Ran a 15.684 @ 86.11 with a slow 2.3 60'.  Lots of wheel spin.

Installed 1995 TBI with "Ultimate" mods done.  Removed bore ridge, radius ridge and shaved throttle shaft.

Added Turbo city fuel pressure regulator.

Added a Holley fuel pressure gage.  Fuel pressure is 11 psi, right were it's supposed to be.  Have to look at injector/computer problems to drive the very rich condition at WOT.

5/1/03  Bought new set of Goodyear Truck Tires

4/27/03:
R&T Unlimited, Inc.  First trip to the dyno. A little disappointing but the engine was running very rich.  Need to buy a fuel pressure regulator.  This is rear wheel horsepower, so the engine is producing approx 205 hp at the crank.  Chevy rates the 91 LO5 at 210 at the crank...so something is wrong, hopefully the fuel regulator will help here.
