The A/F gauge has a simple 3 wire hook up. A 5 amp
fused positive,
negative and a signal wire spliced into the O2 sensor line. The
black
wire shown here is the stock truck wire that leads to the O2 sensor,
the
green wire goes to the A/F gauge. Tape the wires after
splicing.
Be careful, if you ground out the O2
gauge-it's TOAST!

I took the pos/neg feeds off my fuel pressure gauge (on
right) terminals
to power the AF gauge.
I added 2 banana plug outlets beneath the gauge to hook a multimeter up to to get actual air/fuel ratio voltage instead of the LED output. The banana positive is sliced into the O2 signal wire going to the gauge and the negative is attached to the FP gauge terminal. Yes it's kind of a rats nest-but it works! |
