Here's a few of the tool I used.
1)  4.5" angle grinder
2)  Die grinder
3)  Misc. high speed grinding stones
3)  Sanding rolls
4)  Wire wheel for Dremel
5)  Small grinding stones for Dremel
6)  Safety glasses
Here's the before shot, you can see how much the bore ridge blocks airflow.
Here's another before shot showing how much material will be removed.
Tape off any area you don't want to grind with duct tape.  I started removing the ridge with some grinding stones, but that was taking forever.  So out came the 4.5" grinder.  10 min later the ridge was gone.  I don't recommend this method for everyone, you can remove too much very quickly.
To radius the ridge and make for smoother flow, I use progressively finer sanding rolls on a die grinder.  I started with 80g, followed by 100 then 240 to get out all the scratches.  I then polished the bores with a dremel wire wheel.
In order to prepare the TBI for a injector spacer, clearance the underside of the TBI body with a high speed grinder where the fuel nuts screw into the pod.  Grind off as much as you need to get your injector spacer in.

Here the throttle shaft before thinning.  The shaft block a large portion of the bore reducing airflow.  Tape the bores before you grind to avoid scratching them.  Use a small high speed grinding stone in a dremel and be careful.  The screws holding the blades on are TOUGH stuff so be careful and take your time.  Definity wear safety glasses for this one.
