11/07  Still determining cause of no oil to head.

10/07  Finished 16th in Super ET class at Cordova Dragway.

9/07   Reinstalled rebuilt head.  No oil to head resulted in a smoked turbo!

9/07   Burnt a exhaust valve after trying for a new best on pump.

12.736@107.42 with a r/t .038
12.957@106.66 with a r/t -.018

First round of elimination's:
12.88 dial ran a 13.046@106.32 with a r/t .030 Got out of it at 1000' and just kept a car ahead of the other lane

Second round
12.88 dial ran a 13.073@106.08 w a r/t .055. I holeshot the other car and again just stayed ahead of the other car to take the win.

Third round
12.88 dial and I went red on the start. The other car would have still beat me with my 12.96


8/5/07  Replace front lower control arm bushings with Energy Supension poly bushings.
          Removed A/C fan since it's just along for the ride.

I decided to try really hard for consistency and went with an easy tune, especially with the high temps and high humdity.
These where qualifying runs:
12.976@106.29 with a r/t -.143
13.023@106.61 with a r/t .010
13.003@106.59 with a r/t .002
First round of eliminations:
12.99 dial ran a 13.099@106.32 with a r/t .020
Second round
12.99 dial ran a 13.000@106.08. Unfortunately I went red (-.059) but the other guy ran a .001 r/t and a 12.047 on a 12.04 dial....basically a perfect run for him!
Track was somewhat slick, my 60's were in the 1.8-1.9's instead of the normal 1.7'

6/7/07     Modified a stock 1G BOV per the "Dodge Mod" when the Turbo RFL valve start leaking under pressure.

5/07         Added a Symborski Shifter Kit from MACH V to replace the old rubber bushing.  Shifter movement was caused the shifter to not allow the car to go from 4th back to first at the strip.


4/30/07   EPROM version 2.0 burnt by NCgalant on DSM Central.  Now able to run 18 psi of 93 pump gas!!

Good first outing, with a new best time.  Was knocking in 4 gear with 110 mixed in the tank, needs some more tuning.  Stutterbox definitely helps with RT.

4/07       Added drive shaft loop to be NHRA legal.

4/9/07    EPROM ECU added with custom EPROM burnt by NCgalant on DSM Central.

3/17/07  Turbo's rebuilt!
               AEM Wideband is hooked up to the ECU so it can be logged.
               Remote mounted the oil pressure sending unit....so I don't kill another!
               A/C system eliminated, evaporater is cracked and I'm not taking apart the dash.

2/07   Turbo spit out it's seals, instant smoke machine!

12/1/06  Fragged TOB.  Ground fingers on clutch.

Due to an accident that took out the guard rail at the 1/4 mile, they only allowed runs to the 1/8.  Good day overall, lots on runs and lot of fun.  Too bad the shortened track didn't allow me to get probably my new personal best!

60 degrees, perfect night!!
Yea Ha!!!   Finally made the 12's, took most of the year but I finally got there.  Took 20psi on 110 gas.  Got it leaned out at WOT to 12.5 on the wideband so it was golden!

8/xx/06  AEM Wideband installed.  Ryan at Meineke welded the bung in the downpipe.  Did a excellant job!

8/5/06  Installed Supra SMIC.  Fabricated new LICP and UICP from scatch.  Thank's Mike for the welding!!!  GM translator is now in a blow through arrangment and the LO trims have fianlly stabilized.  Seems the draw through setup was causing wierd readings.

7/xx/06  Installed Lucas 550 injectors from FIC.   Excellant service and product!

7/2/06  SCDC Race at Cordova
           Qualified 6th in Stock AWD class, ran the #1 qualifier and lost.
           Qualified 1st is Street Fab (only 2 cars entered!) and won by a wholeshot

Day was hot, so times where down.  Car was constantly in fuel cut going down the track, sometimes hitting fuel cut 3-4 times (on tape).  I kept lean out base settings on MAFT, it helped, but bigger injectors are needed so MAFT can get past the FC.  Injectors will also getting the Duty Cycles below 100%.

6/24/06  GM Maf and Translator installed...let the tuning begin!!!

5/06      Engine installed and fired up!!!

5/06  Transmission rebuilt.  New 1-2, 3-4 sychros, hub and sliders.

4/06    Engine build completed.  Left cylinder head in place
                Balance shafts removed
                Turbo fully ported on inlet and outlet sides
                Replaced all bearings, seals and gaskets
                New front case and oil pump.
                EGR block off plate from SOB Racing
                Vacume lines removed
                 Front/Rear roll control mounts filled with window-weld

2/22/06  Hmmmm, more than just a hammered bearing.  Pulled the engine because crankshaft was cracked in two!!!

Trans sycros (1-2 and 2-3) are going, hard to get a clean run.  Traction was limited early in the day, 4 wheel tire spin on launch.  Lot of good 60' with hard launches at 5K. 

10/05    Buffed out haze on headlights with Mother's Mag Polish, look almost brand new!!

60-70 degrees
Engine was running extremely rich with 2G regulator and 190 fuel pump (14.4 times).  Swapped the stock FPR back and speeds picked up.  Had problem keeping boost up and engine started picking up knock counts in 3-4 gear.  Needed more 110 in tank but gas sales was stopped.  Engine is still running rich.  Launches are running consistent 1.85-1.87 60 foot and R/T are down to .2-.3's with a .090!

Very Humid day.  Ran 1/8 tank gas with 1.5 gal 110 octane.  Cleaned out hatch of extra weight.
Above run was best run of the night.  Got a good 60 ft leaving at about 5K.  Missed third gear though!!!

Good day at the track, 92 degrees plus though.  Definatly need race gas, first run was 94 mph.  Added some 110 octane and jumped to 99 mph.  Still having a hard time launching at 4000 plus but I'm getting better.
First time bracket racing, won first round but fell asleep in second and let the other car get .3 on me.  Almost ran him down and lost by .1!

8/3/05     Added Kriss144 intake.

6/25/05   Installed a new ACT 2600 clutch from AWD NOT TWO RACING.. Grabs nice now and holds!

5/26/05  Clutch still slips.  Oh well it was free!

5/25/05   Installed used Clutch Masters clutch plate

Clutch was slipping through 2-3-4 gear shifts.  Next run clutch went completly even with boost turned down to 14.
Learning to launch without bogging was a problem, last run launched at 4000-5000 and cut a 2.171 60 foot.  Getting better.

5/17/05   Aluminum duct to replace the headlight at the strip.  Now available from SOB RACING

5/10/05   Installed 2G Auto fuel pressure regulator.

5/9/05    Replaced louvered panel in wheel well with expanded steel mesh for easier air flow for the intercooler..

5/8/05    Installed Buschur down pipe and test pipe from AWD NOT TWO RACING.  Now have complete 2 1/2" exhaust from turbo back.  Boost spools nice!!

4/15/05  Rewired stock pump.

4/9/05  Added Summit catch can to keep oil out of intercooler..
             Fabricated a steel lower intercooler pipe.

4/8/05  Added B&M fuel pressure gauge.

4/5/05  Moved boost gauge to A-pillar pod.
            Made up a gauge cluster PDA mount.  Now available from SOB RACING

4/1/05  Got my Pocketlogger.  Engines running lean at WOT.  Random knock at part throttle.

2/27/05  Picked up my Buschur Upper Intercooler Pipe from AWD NOT TWO RACING
                             Modified air can.

1/14/05  New Yokohama Avid V4S 225/50/16

1/2/05  Finally got the axle seal replaced!!!

12/13/04  Swapped in a used trans output shaft (Thanks Darryl!) reassembled everything and took it for a drive.  Runs fine now, but the passenger side axle seal leaks...back to the jack stands!

12/5/04     Reassembled transfer case with new bearing and seal.  Bad Spline (twisted) on trans output shaft won't let transfer case slide on.  Transfer case input shaft is ruined, bearing spun and welded itself to shaft

11/26/04  Blown transfer case....fluid ran dry and bearing exploded rollers out seal.

11/11/04  Bought Car

11/04   Leaky capacitors were replaced in ECM.
